We are now looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to take on the role of Wireless Network Solutions within Ericsson’s Telstra Account. The Wireless Network Solutions leads a team of mobile network solution experts in 4G and 5G technologies who work closely with the customer to develop innovative network solutions keeping them at the forefront of the industry. This position, which is based in Melbourne Australia, works closely with the Key Account Manager (KAM) for Telstra and sales managers to deliver innovative techno commercial solutions. As the technical lead for mobile network solutions, the Wireless Network Solutions works on a strategic level to engage with the customers technology leadership executives, understand the customers business requirements and ensure Ericsson solutions deliver the best mobile experience to Telstra’s customers.
In this role, you would:
• Using a consultative approach, work with the customer to understand their business and technology requirements and craft mobile techno commercial solutions that deliver on their technology and market leadership ambitions.
• Support the customer in creating vision and strategy by delivering thought leadership and insight into new market trends via Ericsson’s global technology teams.
• Provide technology strategy and sales leadership across the whole account to deliver exceptional customer value. Work with the sales team in negotiation of new business, the renewal of ongoing business and technology leadership initiatives.
• Engage closely with Ericsson’s Product Development Unit in Sweden Headquarters to advocate, influence and build roadmaps which support the customer’s strategies and technology ambitions.
• Lead a team of wireless solution experts in the areas of 3G, 4G, 5G, RAN, Transport, Core, IMS and OAM systems. Deliver the customer a high performing end to end mobile network solution that drives the customers market and technology leadership.
• Conduct knowledge transfer, perform coaching and mentoring activities to support internal competence build-up.
• Drive media communications for Telstra and Ericsson technology leadership in partnership with the Ericsson communications team.

As our ideal candidate, you will have:
• Education: University degree in engineering (ideally Electronics and or Communications Engineering). A business degree or MBA would be an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience and strong capability with RAN (RF and 4G, 5G systems knowledge) and Wireless Transport (routing, switching, microwave). Ideally will also have a good working knowledge of mobile core including EPC, 5GC and IMS.
• Minimum 10-15 years of similar / relevant experience in the telecommunication industry.
• Customer insight, high commercial acumen, excellent communication skills including CXO level.
• Strong experience in customer interfacing, familiarity with the broader Ericsson portfolio, understanding of mobile network operators’ business and operations and experience formulating customer orientated sales strategy.
• Highly active team player who can build and work with a diversified team.
• Experience leading teams that operate both locally and virtually.
• Change Management and Transformation skills.
