The role has responsibility for ensuring that all Human Resources (HR) operations are carried out smoothly and effectively. You will be responsible for developing HR strategies and providing sound advice to senior management on all related subjects.
Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and use this as a basis for the formulation of people strategies related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
Review and maintain HR policies, processes, and procedures, enforcing compliance with policy and ensuring the update and initiation of new policies, processes, and procedures in line with best practices and in support of the organizational strategy and direction.
Work with business leaders in identifying staffing and recruitment needs.
Develop and execute best practices for hiring top talent.
Oversee and coordinate effective new hire induction programs as part of the overall indoctrination process.
Drive and facilitate the annual performance management system, from goal setting (Scorecard development) through to half-year/year-end appraisals to the preparation of the annual Employee Development Plan.
Plan for and direct employee training and development programs and interventions
Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as transfers, performance appraisals, and confirmation rates
Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization's human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system.
Direct and manage the staff Welfare and Benefits Scheme in line with company policies and procedures.
Prepare and maintain Company Compensation Structure.
Manage staff disciplinary and grievance issues in line with policy and advise management accordingly
Provide and coordinate employee services and counseling.
Acts in a confidential capacity handling internal and external inquiries from employees and departments
Improve management/employee communications.
Prepare and manage HR’s Annual Budgets.
Participate in leading and managing organisational change initiatives, with a focus on the people side of change management. Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
Oversee the daily workflow of the HR department in the administration of human resource programs.
Coach and develop a strong HR team that can deliver on the imperatives of the client.
Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Monitor and ensure the client’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Coordinate and ensure timely remittance of all statutory payments for and on behalf of the staff.
All other duties as required by executive management.
