Project Coordinator & Interior Designer

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and organised Project Coordinator with an interior design background to join our growing studio. This dual‑focus role blends active interior‑design project coordination with day‑to‑day office management, offering a creative environment and a clear path to senior responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate interior design projects from brief through concept, design development, and site delivery.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure smooth project progress.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverable milestones, escalating risks proactively.
• Manage FF&E procurement – sourcing, tracking orders, and overseeing delivery timelines.
• Maintain up‑to‑date project files, drawing registers, and correspondence records.
• Prepare client presentations, mood boards, and design proposals.
• Document accurate minutes of meetings for all project and client meetings.
• Oversee day‑to‑day studio operations, ensuring the office runs efficiently and professionally.
• Provide administrative support to senior management, including calendar coordination and travel arrangements.
• Assist with HR administration, staff attendance, leave tracking, and onboarding logistics.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related design discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an interior design, architecture, or creative practice.
• Strong understanding of interior design processes, materials, and the construction cycle.
• Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Confident communicator in both English and French.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and comfortable taking ownership with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and desire to grow within the practice.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with SketchUp or similar design tools.
