Description
Plan and maintain network installation, circuit integration, network equipment maintenance, and operations.
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network issues.
Monitoring network performance to identify potential problems and help ensure high-performance levels.
Prepare monthly network availability report.
Maintaining the network infrastructure by troubleshooting problems with routers, switches, wireless controller, firewall, wireless access-point, radius server etc.
Create BOM for new, faulty and EOL network devices.
Implement software upgrades or patches on network-related devices.
Maintaining records of network activity such as logs of user activity or system performance metrics
Facilitate Change Management requests and execution according to SOP or MOP
Ensure network documentations are up to date
Requirements
Qualifications/Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 - 6 years working experience in same or related position.
Competencies and Skills
Cisco and Networking certifications; CCNA, CCNP & Fortinet NSE4.
Experience working with networking protocols, including TCP/IP, IPsec, DMVPN, GRE, HSRP, VRRP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
Proficient in leading networking technologies software-defined WAN (SD-WAN), Wi-Fi 6, and network automation.
Proficient in Unified Threat Management (UTM) Solutions.
Excellent communication skills.
