ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Director of Sales is responsible for managing all offline activities in Nigeria. This includes the management of the Offline Acquisition team (Sales Team) and could include the creation of Merchant Acquisition team, Distributor Acquisition team, offline branches and an agency banking network going forward.
The role reports to the CEO of Payforce by FairMoney while business unit CEOs and clients to the Director of Sales. The role needs to own all other future offline initiatives such as branches system, sales teams, agency networks and oversee whatever other functions there are that require offline component.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage and build the Offline Salesforce.
Manage acquisition of Merchants across the country.
Build branches or micro-branches network.
Manage any other offline activity that FairMoney has or will have. This could be in distribution/customer management or any other vertical that is relevant for FairMoney operations.
Requirements
10+ years of work experience in a fast-paced work environment (E-commerce, Fintech/Banking & Financial Industry).
Experience in financial industry or FMCG is a very strong plus (Previously rolled out branches/managed sales agents/agency network).
Experience in offline distribution in Nigeria specifically is a strong plus.
Offline distribution and sales experience is a strong must. Larger teams and larger budgets (+100 people teams/+ multiple mEUR revenue projects).
Data-driven and ability to express in logical ways.
Strong communication skills and ability to raise the voice in a room with strong counterparts.

Recruitment Process:
A screening interview with one of the members of the Talent Acquisition team for 30 minutes.
Technical interview with the Hiring Manager for 45 minutes.
