Business Development Representative – CMR Segment

About the role
Motive is building a high‑performing Business Development Representative (BDR) program to grow its sales talent pipeline. As a BDR focused on the CMR segment (companies with 10‑49 vehicles), you will generate early‑stage sales activity, qualify prospects, and feed the pipeline for future Account Executive opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and qualify prospects through outbound campaigns using calls, emails and other channels.
- Schedule initial sales meetings and drive high demo attendance rates.
- Conduct early‑stage discovery conversations and handle initial objections.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and keep the sales pipeline up‑to‑date.
- Research, validate and enrich prospect data using tools such as ZoomInfo, Salesforce and Gemini.
- Participate in peer‑review of Sales Qualified Opportunities to ensure quality.
- Earn and retain required certifications for the role.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of experience in B2B or B2C sales, data operations or a related field.
- Strong interest in outbound prospecting and lead enrichment, preferably in SaaS or technology.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and online research platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented, organized and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
