XRF & X‑Ray Inspection Lab Technician – Singapore

About the role

We are seeking a Lab Technician to operate X‑ray and XRF inspection equipment within our Singapore quality and inspection team. The role is ideal for candidates with a technical mindset, whether they have prior electronics experience or are looking to start a career in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate X‑ray inspection systems to examine the internal structure of electronic components.
• Perform XRF (X‑ray fluorescence) analysis to verify material composition and coating specifications.
• Conduct dimensional inspections using digital measuring tools and compare results against technical drawings.
• Record inspection data accurately in internal databases and generate detailed reports highlighting any deviations.
• Escalate anomalies and ensure compliance with ISO, JEDEC, ESD and internal QA/QC standards.
• Support additional quality‑control activities as required.

Required profile

• Minimum ITE qualification or equivalent in Engineering, Electronics or a related field.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills; prior experience in electronics, semiconductor or laboratory environments is a plus but not mandatory.
• Basic understanding of ESD handling and electronic component packaging.
• Ability to work reliably in a fast‑moving operational or warehouse setting.
