Software Engineer (Charger & Converter)

About the role

Join Bosch as a Software Engineer focused on chargers and DC/DC converters. You will contribute to the next generation of high‑voltage power‑electronics solutions that power mobility, consumer, industrial and energy applications worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement application software for on‑board chargers and DC/DC converters.
• Develop control functions for high‑voltage power‑electronics converters (DCDC and charger).
• Collaborate with global partners to integrate new ideas and perspectives.
• Participate in the conception phase and translate requirements into robust software.

Required profile

• Completed studies (Diploma/Master) in technical informatics, electrical engineering, physics or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience creating software for embedded hardware control functions.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English; German is a plus.
• Flexible, responsible, team‑oriented mindset with a structured, goal‑driven work style.

Required skills

• Model‑driven software development using ASCET.
• Controller design and simulation experience.
• Requirements management with IBM DOORS.
• Embedded systems programming for control functions.
