Senior System Analyst – Business Application Support

About the role

The Senior System Analyst will provide first‑level support for the organisation’s business applications, ensuring system stability and assisting users with day‑to‑day operational issues. The role also collaborates with the Application Project Manager on process‑improvement initiatives and digital transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver daily support for business applications, triage and resolve user‑reported incidents.
• Manage support tickets, track progress, and coordinate with internal teams or vendors to meet service‑level expectations.
• Perform routine system checks and assist users with troubleshooting to maintain business continuity.
• Analyse existing processes and workflows, identify gaps, and propose enhancements or upgrades.
• Gather detailed user requirements, document functional specifications, and validate system designs.
• Facilitate change‑management activities, communicate impacts, and ensure smooth adoption of new features.
• Conduct user training sessions and create instructional materials.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation, guides, and reference manuals.

Required profile

• Minimum diploma in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience in business application support and ticket management.
• Strong analytical skills to review processes and recommend improvements.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and user training.
