Senior Project Manager (Project Based)

About the role

Seven Consulting is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a flagship, multi‑million‑dollar transformation project. You will own the project from charter through benefits realisation, ensuring it is delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own a flagship project (≈ A$10 million) from initiation to benefits realisation.
• Build and align a cross‑functional team of sponsors, SMEs and partners around transparent KPIs.
• Maintain crystal‑clear status reporting using rigorous controls, real‑time dashboards and plain‑English updates.
• Coach junior project managers, share best‑practice playbooks and drive continuous improvement.
• Adapt delivery methodology—waterfall, agile or hybrid—based on project needs.
• Maintain composure under pressure, providing steady leadership during challenges.

Required profile

• Proven track record delivering A$10 million+ projects for top‑tier clients.
• Strong stakeholder management that turns sceptics into allies.
• Leadership of cross‑functional teams with a reputation for integrity and calm under pressure.
• Deep understanding of waterfall, agile and hybrid delivery approaches (certifications welcome).
