Senior Manager International Tax

About the role

CloudHQ is seeking a Senior Manager International Tax to lead the development and execution of its tax strategy across the Asia‑Pacific region. Reporting to the International Tax Director in Washington, DC, you will work closely with investment, development, finance, accounting and legal teams to manage tax matters from acquisition due diligence to ongoing compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement tax strategies that optimise the group’s APAC operations while mitigating risk.
• Provide tax due‑diligence, structuring advice and post‑acquisition integration support for cross‑border transactions.
• Contribute tax input to purchase and sale agreements, joint‑venture negotiations and internal restructurings.
• Identify, assess and mitigate tax risks, ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws.
• Oversee tax compliance activities, including tax return preparation, transfer‑pricing documentation and reporting in multiple jurisdictions.
• Monitor legislative changes and advise on business impacts.
• Build and maintain relationships with external advisors and tax authorities.
• Manage tax audit requests and drive process and technology improvements.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Chartered Accountant qualification or equivalent.
• Fluent English.
• Minimum 8 years of tax experience in a Big‑4 firm or large real‑estate organization.
• Extensive experience with cross‑border transactions, real‑estate funds, infrastructure, construction or data‑center assets.
• Proven track record in APAC real‑estate tax.
• Familiarity with US or European investors and fund managers.
