Senior Investment Analyst – Venture Capital Expert

About the role

Mercor is seeking a Senior Investment Analyst to support its venture capital initiatives on a contract basis. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with elite talent and leading AI research labs while contributing to high‑impact investment projects.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and create board materials for venture capital projects.
• Conduct market sizing and total addressable market (TAM) analyses to inform investment decisions.
• Develop investment summaries, analysis memos, and strategic insights.
• Source and identify potential deal opportunities within the VC ecosystem.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines.
• Contribute to projects that may lead to future engagements with Mercur.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of venture capital experience at top‑tier firms.
• Proven experience creating board materials.
• Strong proficiency in market sizing and TAM analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to produce investment summaries and memos.
• Experience sourcing deals and identifying opportunities.
• Commitment of at least 10 hours per week for a minimum of four weeks.
