Senior Architectural Associate

About the role

The Senior Architectural Associate will lead the design and delivery of architectural projects, working closely with clients, consultants and authorities from concept to completion. This role requires strong technical expertise, coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple project phases in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Meet clients and professionals early to define and develop project briefs.
• Prepare planning and regulatory applications, ensuring compliance with Singapore or Malaysia building regulations.
• Produce design proposals using CAD and traditional drawing methods.
• Coordinate detailed design information, tender documentation and construction drawings.
• Liaise with authorities to obtain statutory approvals and attend site visits.
• Advise clients on appropriate contract procurement and lead tender preparation.
• Administer contracts, conduct site inspections, and resolve construction‑stage issues.
• Maintain detailed specifications for materials and processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of architectural experience in Singapore or Malaysia.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and fast‑paced environment.
• Familiarity with local building regulations.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating relevant project work.
• Proactive, conscientious attitude.
