Senior Accounting Manager – Fixed Term (6‑12 months)

About the role

The Senior Accounting Manager will lead media finance operations on a fixed‑term basis, overseeing billing, revenue recognition and month‑end close. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures financial accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise Finance Managers and Assistant Finance Managers across all media finance operations.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of billing, revenue recognition and work‑in‑progress (WIP) management.
• Oversee month‑end closing, including journal entries, reconciliations and compliance with accounting standards.
• Review credit notes, financial adjustments and other accounting entries.
• Standardize and streamline financial processes to improve efficiency and control.
• Maintain strong internal controls and adherence to company accounting policies.
• Lead regular WIP meetings with business and finance stakeholders.
• Oversee client, internal and external audit processes and ensure audit readiness.
• Collaborate with system support to enhance automation and reporting capabilities.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives for accuracy, efficiency and data integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Prior experience in media, advertising or agency environments preferred.
• Proven ability in financial control and process improvement.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
