About the role
The Reservations Executive will manage all incoming reservation requests, changes and cancellations for The Ritz‑Carlton Millenia Singapore, ensuring a seamless booking experience for guests. This front‑line position combines customer service, sales techniques and accurate data entry to support the hotel’s revenue goals.
Key responsibilities
- Process reservation requests, modifications and cancellations received via phone, fax or mail.
- Identify guest needs, verify room availability and rates, and explain guarantee, special rate and cancellation policies.
- Document and accommodate special requests, answer questions about hotel facilities and services.
- Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue and input accurate data into the reservation system.
- Code special reservation types such as complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel‑agent rates and wholesale bookings.
- Escalate guest concerns following proper procedures and adhere to all company policies.
- Maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information and support a safe work environment.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior reservation or hospitality experience required.
- Ability to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
- Strong communication skills, professional telephone etiquette and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Willingness to work full‑time in an onsite hotel environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with a reservation system for data entry and rate coding.
