About the role
The Relationship Manager – Business Banking is responsible for generating new commercial loans, growing and maintaining an existing loan portfolio, and cross‑selling the bank’s products and services while ensuring asset quality.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct credit evaluations, including client calls and site inspections.
- Recommend credit facilities based on client’s business, financial capacity, management, collateral and profitability.
- Identify and target credit‑worthy accounts, market bank products, and tailor financial packages.
- Increase market share and revenue while improving portfolio quality.
- Perform annual reviews of existing credit facilities to ensure suitability.
- Expand relationships with prime accounts by encouraging deposits, availments and collateral business.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Accounting or Commerce; MBA or MA preferred.
- Minimum two years of banking experience or five years in another industry.
- Knowledge of international and local trade payments, bank policies, and credit approval processes.
- Strong analytical abilities for financial and profitability analysis.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with basic MS Office applications.
