Project Architect – Lagos

About the role

The Project Architect will lead architectural projects from concept through to completion, ensuring design excellence, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery. This full‑time, onsite position is based in Lagos and requires strong coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, detailed drawings, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, statutory requirements, and industry standards.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor progress to maintain design integrity and quality.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and technical documentation for project approvals.
• Review and approve material specifications and architectural details.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to junior architects and design teams.
• Liaise with authorities to secure approvals and permits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural project management.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent project coordination and communication abilities.
• Professional certification or registration with relevant bodies is an advantage.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with architectural design software.
