Poultry Farm Manager

About the role

The Poultry Farm Manager will lead daily operations at Demarii Farms' poultry facility in Ibadan, Nigeria. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on maintaining high standards of poultry health, feeding, and egg production while driving efficiency and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily farm activities, including poultry health, feeding, and egg production.
• Supervise and train farm staff to ensure productivity and protocol adherence.
• Maintain compliance with animal health, welfare, and biosecurity standards.
• Manage inventories, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Monitor equipment maintenance and record‑keeping systems.
• Achieve production targets and support operational growth.

Required profile

• Experience in poultry management, livestock breeding, and animal husbandry.
• Knowledge of biosecurity measures, animal welfare standards, and poultry healthcare practices.
• Proven ability to supervise and train farm personnel.
• Expertise in feed management, equipment maintenance, and accurate record‑keeping.
• Proficiency in budget management, resource allocation, and operational planning.
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team on‑site.
• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in commercial‑scale poultry farming is highly advantageous.
