About the role
Join a locally owned pharmacy to provide health, beauty and convenience services to your community. As a pharmacist you will be the primary point of contact for customers and health‑care providers, ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing and professional counselling.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily pharmacy operations, including workflow queues and inventory control.
- Provide prescription counselling, over‑the‑counter advice and expanded‑scope professional services.
- Maintain privacy and confidentiality standards for all customers.
- Communicate with other health‑care professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Oversee stock levels, identify expired products and place medication orders.
- Ensure compliance with federal/provincial regulations, including Controlled Drugs and Substances Act reporting.
- Handle incident reporting and support store financial reporting as needed.
Required profile
- Independent decision‑making with strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Proven ability to lead, coach and coordinate pharmacy staff.
- Commitment to exceptional customer service and professional conduct.
- Willingness to complete mandatory training and continuing education.
Required skills
- Proficiency with pharmacy software systems.
- Strong personal computing skills.
