Mechanical Engineer (Automation & Robotics)

About the role

GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore is seeking a senior Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and commission customized semi‑automatic and fully automatic machines that enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise, design, test, implement, debug and commission automated and robotic equipment.
• Perform prototype design, assembly, testing and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and customers to define work plans, deliverables, resources, budgets and timelines.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and system integrators for equipment delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical design of customised automated systems.
• Proven track record of prototyping and delivering new automated equipment in a production setting.
• Strong problem‑solving, organisational and communication abilities.
