Marine Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Marine Technician to join our team in the Seychelles. You will be responsible for keeping our fleet of yachts and tenders in top condition, ensuring safe and enjoyable experiences for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform turnaround service checks, yacht preparation and deck washing.
• Brief clients on mechanical systems and safety equipment.
• Carry out maintenance and repairs on all yacht equipment and technology.
• Conduct proactive daily maintenance, checks and repairs, including engine servicing (oil and filter changes).
• Maintain outboard engines for tenders and respond to emergency breakdown calls.
• Deliver safety briefings and assist clients with queries.
• Support the general running of the base and any additional duties assigned by the Line Manager.

Required profile

• Experience with diesel engines and 2‑stroke/4‑stroke outboard engines.
• Strong understanding of 12V DC electrical and yacht plumbing systems.
• Practical problem‑solver able to work under tight deadlines.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a sociable, positive personality.
• Team player who can adapt to flexible working hours.
