About the role
Bosch Malaysia is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead warehouse and shipping operations at its manufacturing plant. The role focuses on ensuring efficient physical logistics, maintaining inventory accuracy, and delivering high customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and shipping activities to meet quality and delivery targets.
- Maintain accurate inventory through regular physical counts and reconciliations.
- Implement and monitor security procedures to protect warehouse assets.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hazardous material handling regulations.
- Manage team performance through coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
- Prepare and monitor the annual logistics budget, analyze variances, and take corrective actions.
- Lead and participate in Bosch Production System (BPS) initiatives.
- Provide management reporting as required.
Required profile
- Degree in any discipline with relevant experience.
- Minimum 10 years of physical logistics experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of work safety and hazardous material transportation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities across all management levels.
- Flexible, results‑oriented, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Malaysian citizenship is mandatory.
