About the role
Join Auckland Transport’s bustling Service Centres and become the frontline voice for thousands of Aucklanders each day. In this full‑time, permanent position you’ll guide, support and empower customers as they navigate the city’s transport network.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver world‑class customer service in a fast‑paced environment.
- Assist customers with journey planning, ticketing queries and transport issues.
- Empathise with and prioritize customer needs, handling complaints and de‑escalating conflicts.
- Provide end‑to‑end support and act as an advocate for customers.
- Motivate and lead colleagues by example, fostering a collaborative team spirit.
Required profile
- Eager to learn and passionate about serving the public.
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to handle diverse customer interactions and resolve conflicts.
