Case Coordination Caseworker

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a dedicated Case Coordination Caseworker to provide trauma‑informed services to refugees and other ORR‑qualified immigrants. This short‑term position supports clients in achieving self‑sufficiency and successful integration while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments to identify client needs and eligibility.
• Develop individualized Family Self‑Sufficiency Plans (FSSPs) and Individual Employability Plans (IEPs) with clear timelines.
• Provide direct services, referrals, and advocacy to remove employment barriers and stabilize clients.
• Monitor client progress, address challenges, and ensure appropriate use of resources.
• Document all client interactions in required databases and assist with reporting.
• Collaborate with coworkers, partner agencies, and community service providers.
• Travel within the service area using a personal vehicle or public transportation to meet clients.
• Train and supervise volunteers or interns as needed.

Required profile

• Experience working with refugees, immigrants, or vulnerable populations.
• Knowledge of ORR and TANF eligibility criteria.
• Strong interpersonal and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
