Boutique Supervisor - Barista

About the role

The Boutique Supervisor & Barista Lead will manage the daily operations of the hotel boutique and the on‑site coffee shop. This dual‑role ensures a seamless, luxury‑focused guest experience while driving retail and beverage sales.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise boutique opening and closing procedures, delivering a refined shopping experience aligned with brand standards.
• Drive retail sales through upselling, cross‑selling and deep product knowledge.
• Maintain visual merchandising, product presentation and loss‑prevention measures.
• Manage inventory, stock replenishment, regular stock takes and prepare daily sales reports.
• Coordinate with Spa, Front Office and Marketing for promotions and gifting initiatives.
• Lead coffee shop operations, preparing specialty coffee, espresso‑based drinks and teas to brand standards.
• Train and mentor barista staff on coffee preparation, service flow and presentation.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene and proper maintenance of coffee equipment.
• Monitor coffee shop stock levels, assist with ordering and recommend beverages to enhance guest experience.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years experience in luxury retail, hospitality or café operations.
• Previous supervisory or team‑leader experience preferred.
• Certified or experienced barista with strong coffee knowledge.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Strong sales mindset with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with clothing brands and boutique merchandise.
• Experience using POS systems and basic inventory management.
• Ability to multitask and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
