Accounts Manager

About the role

The Accounts Manager will lead a team responsible for fund accounting, NAV calculation and client reporting within Apex Group’s global fund administration business. You will act as the primary client contact, ensuring high‑quality service, compliance and timely delivery of financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily team activities to ensure adherence to Apex service standards, policies and procedures.
• Maintain team schedules for NAV calculations and regulatory filings.
• Participate actively in NAV calculation, transaction entry and new client onboarding.
• Review NAV calculations, investor transactions, wire instructions and client communications for accuracy.
• Oversee fund wire documentation, AML/KYC checks and settlement of debtor accounts, including administration and director fees.
• Prepare interim and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS, including required notes.
• Draft basic board minutes for compliance review.
• Train new and existing staff, and propose process improvements for efficiency and quality.
• Serve as the primary client point of contact, handling issues, audit queries and tax/compliance requests.
• Facilitate information flow between senior management and staff, and manage ad‑hoc client projects.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of fund accounting, NAV processes and regulatory reporting.
• Experience supervising a team in a financial services environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
