Transport Driver – Dairy Deliveries

About the role

Join Mainland Dairy’s growing logistics team as a Transport Driver based at the Takaanini site. You will be responsible for safely moving dairy products from the plant to customers, ensuring timely and professional deliveries while upholding the company’s quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate large, complex transport vehicles to deliver dairy products across the region.
• Use digital systems to record, upload and track delivery data and transport requirements.
• Clean and monitor transport equipment to maintain product quality.
• Follow all safety regulations, company procedures and quality protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service through punctual and courteous deliveries.

Required profile

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Forklift truck licence.
• Proven experience driving large transport vehicles, including on country roads with live loads.
• Ability to operate digital delivery systems and handle manual loading in varied environments, such as freezers.
• Strong attention to detail, safety focus and commitment to quality standards.
• Effective time‑management, organisational and communication skills.
