Transformation Lead – People & Culture Services Europe

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Transformation Lead for its People & Culture (P&C) Services across Europe. This temporary position, covering parental leave, will partner with senior leaders in Europe and the United States to translate the global P&C strategy into actionable plans that enhance organisational design, employee experience and service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the global P&C strategy into a clear, actionable roadmap for Europe and the US, aligning resources and priorities with IRC Strategy 100.
• Lead and deliver transformation and process‑improvement projects that strengthen employee experience, efficiency and service quality.
• Produce quarterly People Trends Metrics reports and manage the Europe P&C calendar.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, P&C partners, country focal points and global teams (Recruitment, Compensation, Duty of Care, IT, GEDI, People Development) to ensure alignment and readiness.
• Monitor external workforce trends and shape the future‑of‑work approach for the region.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading organisational design, transformation or change initiatives within a People & Culture or HR context.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to work closely with senior leaders across multiple countries.
• Analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Passion for humanitarian missions and a solutions‑driven attitude.
