Teamlead, Field Recovery

About the role

Renmoney is seeking a dynamic Teamlead to head its Field Recovery unit. You will lead a group of Field Recovery Officers, balancing effective debt collection with a customer‑centric approach to support Nigeria’s underbanked community.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate a team of Field Recovery Officers to meet recovery targets.
• Design and implement recovery strategies that respect customer relationships while achieving collection goals.
• Monitor performance metrics, provide regular feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
• Engage directly with clients to resolve issues and negotiate amicable debt settlements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to share insights and enhance overall customer experience.
• Stay current on industry best practices and compliance regulations to ensure ethical recovery processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in field recovery or debt collections, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of recovery processes and customer relationship management.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with a data‑driven approach to performance measurement.
