Supply Chain Manager

About the role

The Supply Chain Manager will lead the supply chain function for World Vision, ensuring that procurement and logistics processes support timely implementation of programmes that improve the lives of vulnerable children. This role focuses on process improvement, standardisation, cost containment and alignment with World Vision’s global supply chain strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and align functional supply chain strategy with global and regional priorities.
• Prepare and review annual business and procurement plans, ensuring they are integrated with finance and operations.
• Engage proactively with suppliers, partners, NGOs, local authorities and other stakeholders to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
• Lead strategic sourcing, including spend analysis, market assessment, supplier pre‑qualification and RFQ/RFP processes.
• Negotiate contracts for high‑spend categories and oversee contract management and supplier relationship activities.
• Represent the supply chain function in project design, strategic planning and governance meetings.
• Ensure compliance with World Vision procurement policies and embed sourcing controls in partner assessments.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing supply chain, procurement or strategic sourcing functions, preferably in an NGO or humanitarian context.
• Strong ability to develop and implement functional strategies aligned with organisational goals.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with experience coordinating across multiple partners and authorities.
• Demonstrated competence in preparing business and procurement plans and reviewing financial implications.
