STEM Teacher for Secondary & Junior College (Singapore)

About the role

We are seeking passionate and articulate educators to teach Secondary (Lower & Upper) and Junior College students in Singapore. The role involves delivering engaging lessons across STEM subjects and preparing students for O‑Level and A‑Level examinations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct interactive lessons aligned with the MOE syllabus for Secondary and/or JC students.
• Prepare students for O‑Level and A‑Level examinations using clear explanations and exam‑oriented strategies.
• Design lesson materials, worksheets, and assessments that meet learning objectives.
• Mark assignments, provide actionable feedback, and track student progress.
• Motivate students of varied abilities, build rapport with parents, and support academic confidence.
• Participate in curriculum development, team discussions, and professional development sessions.

Required profile

• Strong academic qualifications in the relevant subject(s); degree or postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Familiarity with the Singapore MOE Secondary/JC syllabus is a plus.
• Prior teaching experience at Secondary or JC level is advantageous, though fresh graduates with outstanding records may be considered.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Structured, organised, and professional work ethic.

Required skills

• Strong command of subject matter and exam requirements.
• Ability to teach small groups in tuition or enrichment settings.
• Willingness to work weekends as needed.
