Solar Construction Project Manager

About the role

The Solar Construction Project Manager will lead the design, construction, QA/QC, HSSE compliance, punch‑listing, testing and commissioning of the Lasso‑3 solar project. Working closely with internal technical, O&M, BD and HSSE teams as well as external consultants and EPC contractors, the role requires managing multiple engineering disciplines simultaneously.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project strategy, schedule and budget to ensure timely, on‑budget delivery.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, Owner’s Engineers and equipment vendors to enforce contract terms, scope, and deliverables.
• Monitor HSSE performance, conduct on‑site inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.
• Lead design reviews, construction monitoring, equipment procurement, and permit compliance activities.
• Manage change control processes, maintain records of contract modifications and obtain necessary approvals.
• Facilitate status update meetings with utilities, EPCs and other stakeholders, providing detailed project plans and dashboards.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff, and perform any other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• More than 10 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in solar or renewable energy projects.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale budgets, schedules and multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Strong contract management and negotiation experience.
