Software Engineer Intern

About the role

Dive into the heart of innovation with Trimble’s Business Systems team, helping to craft the next generation of the Virtual Warehouse web application. This internship offers hands‑on experience across the full development lifecycle while collaborating with global experts in a fast‑paced, supportive, and cutting‑edge technical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and evolve high‑impact software features using a modern stack that includes React, Java, Spring Boot, and Amazon Aurora.
• Collaborate with global domain experts and developers to design and deliver innovative solutions for the Virtual Warehouse platform.
• Write, test, and debug high‑quality code while ensuring seamless application performance and reliability.
• Participate in the full software lifecycle by documenting procedures and interacting with stakeholders to define system modifications.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Foundational knowledge of software engineering processes and common design patterns.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems creatively.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to collaborative teamwork.
