Software Engineer – API-first Backend & React Frontend

About the role

Interact is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain cutting‑edge intranet solutions used by millions of employees worldwide. You will work on API‑first back‑ends and modern React front‑ends, collaborating closely with product, delivery and other engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, high‑performance APIs using C# and ASP.NET.
• Build responsive user interfaces with ReactJS and Node.js.
• Maintain and optimise SQL Server databases, including stored procedures and transactions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver robust features.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Experience with data structures, algorithms and performance optimisation.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
