Senior Treasury Analyst (Japanese Speaking)

About the role

3M is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst with business‑level Japanese to join its APAC Treasury team. You will be responsible for managing cash, banking, and foreign‑exchange activities for Japan while supporting global treasury initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Daily cash positioning, rolling cash‑flow forecasting and in‑house banking for Japan.
• Manage FX settlements, bank account administration and compliance with internal (3M GFS, SOX) and external policies.
• Support treasury processes on Kyriba and SAP, and ensure accurate closing cycles.
• Leverage treasury technology (SAP, SWIFT, Kyriba, Power BI) to automate and improve processes.
• Participate in global change‑management projects related to cash and banking.
• Partner with business functions to provide finance guidance on cash management, financial instruments and banking strategies.

Required profile

• Fluent English (written and verbal) and business‑level Japanese.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience, including at least 2 years in treasury within an international enterprise.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with treasury management systems such as Kyriba.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Familiarity with SWIFT messaging.
• Knowledge of Power BI for reporting.
• Understanding of general FX regulations.
