Mercor is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support its AI research labs. This remote contract position focuses on ensuring the financial integrity of AI‑generated content and improving model performance through rigorous data analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate the accuracy of financial reporting to guarantee compliance and precision in AI model outputs.
• Analyze complex financial data to enhance the depth and rigor of AI‑generated content.
• Provide structured feedback to AI research teams to improve training data quality and performance.
• Develop benchmarks for assessing AI‑generated financial analysis tasks and solutions.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to ensure consistency and relevance across datasets.
• Work independently and asynchronously, meeting deadlines while driving model improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate finance.
• Experience in financial reporting or financial analysis.
• Ability to commit 10+ hours per week on a contract basis.
