About the role
The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Senior Data Engineer on a fixed‑term contract until June 2027. You will join a dynamic analytics team that supports the External Relations department, helping to build and optimise data pipelines, machine‑learning workflows, and business‑intelligence reporting for humanitarian programmes.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines and ELT processes for the ER data model.
- Implement and monitor machine‑learning operations (ML Ops) to support model deployment and scaling.
- Develop and deploy infrastructure components for data processing and analytics.
- Ensure timely loading of data sets and maintain robust data models with appropriate monitoring.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to deliver reliable business‑intelligence solutions.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a data engineer with a focus on analytics engineering and ML Ops.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑moving humanitarian environment.
- Experience scaling data capabilities as data volume and model complexity increase.
