Senior Architectural Designer

About the role

Aedas, a global architecture practice, is seeking a Senior Architectural Designer to develop and refine design concepts and documentation for large‑scale projects. You will work autonomously while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality design solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine conceptual, schematic, and detailed architectural designs.
• Prepare, manage, and update architectural drawings and construction documentation.
• Coordinate design input with consultants, contractors, and external design teams.
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and site visits.
• Conduct compliance checks against statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Support project leaders with change documentation and project administration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification.
• 5–8 years of experience from concept through design development and construction documentation.
• Experience with large‑scale hotel or mixed‑use developments is an advantage.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Professional certifications such as GMAP, GMAAP, or UD Assessor are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in BIM using Revit Architecture.
• Competence with Bluebeam for PDF management.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Familiarity with local building codes, statutory submissions, and sustainability practices.
