About the role
The Senior Account Director will lead the acquisition of large‑scale outsourced logistics contracts (seven‑figure+), targeting enterprise shippers, retailers and manufacturers. The role requires an existing network of senior decision‑makers who purchase 3PL/4PL, freight forwarding, supply‑chain BPO, fulfillment, reverse‑logistics and other human‑intensive logistics services. You will sell a tech‑first, AI‑augmented services solution into the logistics services buyer market.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, engage and close senior buyers of outsourced logistics services across multiple verticals.
- Leverage your existing relationships to secure eight‑figure contracts and expand the client portfolio.
- Act as the primary executive contact for enterprise accounts, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation.
- Collaborate with AI engineers, product teams and operations leaders to tailor solutions that meet compliance‑heavy, operations‑intensive requirements.
- Maintain accurate revenue forecasts, pipeline health and reporting.
Required profile
- Proven track record of selling outsourced logistics services (3PL/4PL, freight forwarding, fulfillment, reverse logistics) with contracts of seven‑figure size or larger.
- Deep, active relationships with senior decision‑makers in shippers, retailers or manufacturers.
- Strong understanding of compliance‑heavy, high‑volume supply‑chain environments.
- Experience working with AI‑augmented service models is a plus.
- Ability to operate at senior executive level and influence strategic buying decisions.
