About the role
Securecom is looking for a curious and analytical Security Analyst to join its cyber defence team. You will work on real‑world security incidents, help protect customers and internal environments, and continuously develop your expertise.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and investigate security alerts across customer and internal environments.
- Detect, analyse, and respond to security incidents quickly and accurately.
- Collaborate with senior analysts on deep investigations, root‑cause analysis and remediation.
- Support vulnerability management and coordinate fixes with Engineering.
- Engage with customers to guide incidents through to resolution.
- Produce monthly Security Operations reports.
- Participate in on‑call rotation and incident‑response activities.
- Stay up‑to‑date with emerging threats, tools and best practices.
Required profile
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent hands‑on experience.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to explain technical issues clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Proactive mindset and confidence to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Security, CompTIA Security+, ISACA) are a plus but not mandatory.
