Sales Agent – Mobile Installment Financing

About the role

Flexi Microfinance Bank is expanding its Mobile Installment product nationwide and needs enthusiastic Sales Agents to work from designated 3C HUB retail outlets in Port Harcourt. You will engage walk‑in customers, promote the phone financing solution and guide them through onboarding and application.

Key responsibilities

• Approach and engage walk‑in customers at 3C HUB locations to promote the mobile installment financing product.
• Explain product features, payment plans, eligibility criteria and financing terms clearly and professionally.
• Assist customers with onboarding, application submission and required documentation.
• Provide accurate information, answer inquiries and resolve concerns to ensure a seamless experience.
• Collaborate with store staff and Flexi MFB operations teams to ensure efficient loan processing and approvals.
• Track daily leads, applications, conversions and other sales metrics.
• Follow up with pending customers to complete applications and secure final approvals.
• Maintain compliance with sales guidelines, customer verification processes and KYC requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum OND, NCE or equivalent qualification.
• Prior experience in sales, field marketing, retail banking or telecom product sales is an advantage.
• Strong communication, persuasion and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment with daily customer interaction.
• Basic understanding of consumer lending and mobile phone markets (preferred).
• Result‑driven mindset with focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Customer‑service orientation, confidence, resilience and ability to build rapport quickly.
• Accountability, professionalism and goal‑oriented follow‑through.

Required skills

• Computer literacy and ability to use smartphones or digital onboarding tools effectively.
