About the role
Join a fast‑growing AI company to help build large‑language‑model (LLM) evaluation and training datasets focused on realistic software engineering problems. You will work on creating verifiable software engineering tasks from public repository histories and assess how LLMs handle real‑world code.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and triage GitHub issues across trending open‑source libraries.
- Set up and configure code repositories, including Dockerization and environment provisioning.
- Evaluate unit‑test coverage and overall code quality.
- Modify and run codebases locally to benchmark LLM performance in bug‑fixing scenarios.
- Collaborate with researchers to select challenging repositories and issues for LLM evaluation.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers on project tasks.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 + years of professional software engineering experience.
- Tech‑lead level competence with complex codebases.
- Strong familiarity with high‑quality public GitHub repositories.
- Experience contributing to or evaluating open‑source projects is a plus.
Required skills
- Rust programming language.
- Git version control.
- Docker containerization.
- Basic software pipeline and environment automation.
- Ability to run, modify, and test real‑world projects locally.
