Remote Hedge Fund Analyst (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Hedge Fund Analyst to work remotely on a contract basis, supporting AI research teams by evaluating and improving financial content. The role involves independent, asynchronous work to enhance AI model performance on long/short equity strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate hedge fund long/short equity strategies to inform AI model training.
• Develop and review financial models that improve AI‑generated financial content.
• Conduct market sizing and total addressable market (TAM) analysis for AI research.
• Analyze investment research, summaries, and memos for AI model evaluation.
• Predict and analyze earnings to refine AI model outputs.
• Meet deadlines while working independently and asynchronously.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience at top hedge funds.
• Proven experience in financial modeling, market sizing/TAM analysis, or investment research.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet weekly commitments of 10+ hours.
• Available to start in October for a minimum of four weeks.
