Remote C# Developer (AI Dataset Project)

About the role

We are building large‑language‑model (LLM) evaluation and training datasets focused on realistic software‑engineering problems. As a senior‑level C# developer you will work hands‑on to automate development environments, triage issues, and assess test coverage quality for open‑source projects.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and triage GitHub issues across trending open‑source libraries.
• Set up and configure code repositories, including Dockerization and environment setup.
• Evaluate unit‑test coverage and overall code quality.
• Modify and run codebases locally to measure LLM performance in bug‑fixing scenarios.
• Collaborate with AI researchers to select challenging repositories and issues.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers on project tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional software‑engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in C#.
• Experience with Git, Docker, and basic software‑pipeline setup.
• Ability to navigate and understand complex codebases.
• Comfortable running, modifying, and testing real‑world projects locally.
• Experience contributing to or evaluating open‑source projects is a plus.
