About the role
Join Bosch Japan’s Customer Department as a Quality Management Intern. You will work on improving and extending the department’s quality data infrastructure while gaining hands‑on experience with real‑world database projects.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse and optimise existing quality databases.
- Design a relational data model to support reporting needs.
- Implement the model in a chosen database system (e.g., MS Access).
- Develop interfaces to collect data from other systems.
- Create user forms and reporting tools for regular quality reports.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled at a university and able to commit 6‑12 months.
- Strong English communication skills; Japanese and German are a plus.
- Proactive, reliable team player willing to work in a new cultural environment.
Required skills
- Experience with MS Access, MS Excel, VBA, and Power BI.
- Understanding of data flows and processing.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL.
- Familiarity with relational data modelling and normalization methods.
