Project Manager – Responsible Mining Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will lead end‑to‑end delivery of client projects for SLR Better Mining, ensuring ethical and responsible mineral supply chains across African mining sites. You will translate field data and responsible sourcing requirements into well‑structured projects, robust analysis, and clear client outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Own full project lifecycle, delivering on time, within scope and budget.
• Develop, monitor and control detailed project budgets, forecasts and cost trackers.
• Coordinate resourcing, allocating analysts and working with in‑country teams.
• Use project management tools (e.g., Asana) to plan workstreams, manage dependencies and track progress.
• Lead structured analysis of monitoring data, risk metrics and performance indicators, turning complex datasets into actionable insights.
• Identify and flag financial or delivery risks to senior leadership.
• Produce high‑quality, client‑ready reports and presentations.

Required profile

• Professional experience in consulting or advisory roles, managing complex workstreams and budgets.
• Strong analytical mindset with proven problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
• Willingness to travel as project needs dictate.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Asana or similar project management software.
