Private Equity Analyst – Remote Contract

About the role

Mercor is seeking a Private Equity Analyst to support its AI investment initiatives on a contract basis. This remote position offers the opportunity to apply rigorous financial analysis and market research to help shape high‑impact investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate financial models and provide insights to improve AI model outputs.
• Review market sizing and total addressable market (TAM) analyses for alignment with investment strategies.
• Develop comprehensive investment summaries and memos to guide decision‑making.
• Collaborate on Confidential Information Memorandum (CIM) creation and due‑diligence processes.
• Process NDA and other legal documents efficiently to support deal flow.
• Source potential deals and deliver strategic recommendations for investment opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of private‑equity experience at top‑tier firms.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling or market sizing/TAM analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to produce investment summaries and memos.
• Experience with CIM creation and thorough due‑diligence work.
• Capability to handle NDA and legal documentation.
• Strong deal‑sourcing skills.
