PPSO Supervisor – Personal Property Shipping Office

About the role

Amentum is seeking a PPSO Supervisor to lead personal property support services for a U.S. Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role ensures timely movement, storage, and handling of personal property and unaccompanied baggage for military personnel, civilians, and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily PPSO operations, ensuring compliance with DoD regulations for shipment, receipt, and storage.
• Lead and coach a team of PPSO Specialists, providing clear tasking, quality control, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement process improvements to boost workflow efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Audit property movement and storage for contract compliance and resolve any delays, discrepancies, or damages.
• Coordinate with logistics providers, transportation services, and external stakeholders to execute contracted services.
• Prepare and submit regular performance and operational reports to management and government representatives.
• Maintain accurate shipment records using logistics data systems and ensure safety and security protocols are followed.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in personal property shipping, logistics, or transportation operations, including supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; advanced logistics or transportation certifications are preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Valid passport with at least one year of validity and ability to pass contract medical requirements.
