We are now looking for a highly committed and motivated Program Director to drive the execution of all cost optimization related activities and strategies within EAS. In this role you will work with teams across multiple stakeholders and entities fostering change, collaboration and innovation while acting as a problem-solver with a strong result orientation.
This position is located in Rosenheim, Germany, and will report to the Head of Product Management EAS. As part of the EAS Product Management Leadership Team you will make valuable contributions to the strategy and profitability of the whole group.

These interesting tasks and activities await you:
Collaborate closely with partners in R&D, Operations, Finance and other functions to develop, implement and complete comprehensive product cost optimization strategies, methodologies and governance for all of EAS
Define and drive the implementation of all cost improvement focused methods and ways of working that are applied within EAS: Design to cost, design to manufacturability, value-added manufacturing, supplier led innovation / cost improvements, etc.
Drive the definition and tracking of cost reduction targets for existing and new portfolio, platforms and platform components
Facilitate regular cross-functional activities to create new cost improvement ideas
Monitor cost reduction related activities, review and consolidate all corresponding reporting and drive optimization of time to savings
Maintain the latest cost development projections together with the relevant stakeholders
Setup and direct competitor analysis and reverse engineering activities related to product cost
Manage product cost related governance structure for EAS and facilitate respective decision making, including the TK Steering Committee with cross-functional senior management representation
Drive the cultural change towards an organization passionate about end-to-end product cost optimization
You bring the following knowledge and experience:
A Bachelor, Master´s or University degree in telecommunications, engineering, technology or an equivalent qualification
Demonstrated international experience and track record in driving cost reductions for services, products and/or solutions, always passionate to target the best value per cost
Experience within the mobile network infrastructure domain with a sound understanding across technologies, customers and markets will be considered as a merit
Knowledge and experience in the application of modern design to cost methods as target costing, value analysis, reverse engineering, benchmarking, economies of scale calculations, etc.
Experience in finance / controlling along the whole value chain from Product Management and R&D to Operations
Excellent management and leadership skills, with the ability to drive change and transformation focusing on cost improvements as well as operational excellence
Strong project management skills, capable to focus on an effective execution while navigating complexity and ambiguity in a fast-pacing international environment
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, able to successfully interact on all levels up to senior / executive management
Outstanding goal- and result oriented as well as cost- and quality-conscious entrepreneurial mindset with a strong customer orientation
Highly analytical and methodical approach with strong problem-solving skills
Full proficiency in English, both written and spoken
