DESCRIPTION
Apply a comprehensive understanding of gas commercialization techniques and aggressive identification of business opportunities in the Lagos area (especially Epe, Lekki, Victoria Island (including Eko Atlantic), Ikoyi) to develop new gas markets and execute viable gas sales and purchase agreements with credible buyers in those markets.
Provide support to Management and the Board for the periodic review and documentation of corporate business strategy, plan and execution outlook.
Analyze and develop market related trends and strategy towards ensuring corporate awareness and proactive execution that supports company’s business aspiration
Lead new business origination and pitch development for gas business and clean energy development -including but not limited to DLNG/DCNG, LPG, Renewables
Lead gas sourcing and upstream related engagement for increased market portfolio
Lead engagements for related mid-stream market infrastructure development
Lead efforts towards incremental downstream portfolio expansion especially in [Lagos and other parts of the Southwest]
explore, identify and engagements for increased downstream market related portfolio
Lead contract negotiations, administration and management
Overseeing commercial and financial product development to underpin increased market penetration and clean energy deployment
Lead development of market centric service portfolio to support company’s growth visions
Lead brand building and relationships management with customers and critical market stakeholders
Ensure the effective management and administration of all Gas contracts.
Ensure effective liaison with Legal department for the proper contract management and administration procedures
Provide leadership to ensure seamless interface and relationship with critical market stakeholders i.e. gas producers, midstream and downstream players, regulators, state government, FGN, etc
Analyse and accurately forecast the company’s gas needs and develop a comprehensive natural gas sourcing plan/strategy to meet our short-, medium-, and long-term outlook.
Explore opportunities to work with other counter-parties to identity asset management opportunities that are consistent with the company’s risk profile and in supports planned company growth profile
Develop processes, procedures and systems necessary to properly capture and report any risk associated with the various company service portfolios
Establish compliance to relevant regulations and standards in all opportunities
Develop a profitable, viable and sustainable hydro business model for the Company
Develop a profitable, viable and sustainable solar power business model for the Company
Perform other assigned duties as delegated by the CEO from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or related field.
